Moving Target is a Winnipeg-based company with a reputation for innovative, original theatre.
We call our plays “personal-political”, meaning they deal with themes of human rights, peace and social justice through individual struggles, mixing documentary elements into fiction.
Past productions include Deserter, Good People Bad Things, King’s Park, Remember the Night*, Three Ring Circus: Israel, the Palestinians and My Jewish Identity*.

Moving Target’s projects have toured across Canada and the US, including to SummerWorks (Toronto), IMPACT (Kitchener-Waterloo), Prismatic (Halifax), Chutzpah! (Vancouver) and Fringe NYC (NYC).
We have received funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, Manitoba Arts Council, Winnipeg Arts Council, the Joseph Zuken Memorial Association and Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, as well as support from Manitoba Association of Playwrights, Playwrights Guild of Canada and Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.
